Our inspiration story is to inspire you to have the best day of your life in an old Vintage Modern Style.

The Location :
The shoot that took place at alternative wedding venue, a Victorian warehouse BRIXTON EAST showcases a modern vintage romantic ‘secret wedding’.
Brixton East 1871, in the heart of Brixton is a fine example of a nineteenth century furniture warehouse. Arranged over two floors, the characterful building extends to over 4500 SQ FT.

Designer / Stylist : Curious Fair
Curious Fair are creators of luxury bespoke masks, headdresses and accessories for those who like to stand out from the crowd. Inspired by nature & the British woodland their ethereal creations are handcrafted at their Norfolk HQ from real feathers, dried blooms & natural findings.
With roots in theatre design, Curious Fair’s whimsical wares make for some excellent story-telling, each bespoke commission is shaped by the client and their personality resulting in totally unique & highly inventive creations.

Cake Designer: French Made
Woow !! Just one simple word to describe the sensation I feel every time I see these cakes.
Their unique creations take inspiration from modern, rustic design to craft cakes for any occasion, from your beautiful wedding day to a charming afternoon tea. Based in London but with Provence roots, our approach blends the two worlds to produce quirky, unconventional creations that show off your individuality.
Using fine, fresh ingredients, our indulgent cakes are as delicious as they are stunning. Alongside classic flavours, we love to experiment too.

Make Up: Christina Pala

A creative hair stylist and make up artist, she brings over 18 years of international experience spanning fashion, film, bridal work and famous salon houses.
She has worked at Milan fashion week and many fashion shoots in the UK, BBC productions such as Blue Peter, Comic Relief, Disney Channel, the National Theatre and has a wealth of salon experience with Toni and Guy, Wella and Hebe.
Passionate about her job, Cristina loves to connect with people and create the right bespoke look for any occasion.

Flowers: Ladybird Flowers
As for the floral decorations, please meet Em . She adores Love and Flowers.
Her day starts with a fabulous 5am trip to the flower market, then she work her way through the current orders ranging from handties to corporate events to weddings. She’s so passionate about her job and business and she can honestly say with all her heart that she love her job.

The Veil: Kelly Spence
Kelly Spence is an Art & Design graduate and designer of fine wedding accessories, hair adornments, jewellery & veils. She designs for the discerning bride who knows that details matter. Kelly’s award winning designs have been worn by the aristocracy and celebrities and can often be seen gracing the pages of the world’s best wedding blogs and magazines. She has won the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards’ Best Bridal Accessory Designer in 2015 & 2016.
Kelly is renowned for her clean lines, exquisite attention to detail and impeccable customer service. Her signature is delicate and fresh, inspired by nature but with a glancing nod to classic vintage fashions. Every piece is lovingly made to order by hand in the UK using the finest and most luxurious materials sourced from around the world whether it be gossamer fine English pure silk tulle for her veils or the most lustrous freshwater pearls from the Far East for her hair adornments and jewellery.

The Suit: Tweed Addict
Tweed Addict is a specialist tweed tailoring business, based in East London.
They cut sharp, contemporary suits for city as well as country, tailored from the finest British tweeds.
They carry over 1600 different tweeds, in a variety of weights, from all the mills of Scotland, England and Ireland
Their service is predominantly made to measure, which not only ensures that our customers end up with very well fitting suits, completely to their own specifications, but also means that they are able to offer this very wide range of cloths.
Most customers choose to visit their studio in person, in order to be measured up directly, peruse the various cloth bunches, and discuss the details of their suit. However, they also offer a remote service, where customers are able to choose their tweeds online and submit their measurements for a made to measure or made to order service.

The Dress: Days of Grace Vintage
And finally the maker of that beautiful and very unique Vintage dress Days of Grace Vintage.
Here you will find heirloom gowns of a vintage style for a special occasion, for the bride or for the collector.

These one-off designs are made from antique lace and vintage textiles and are perfect for country weddings, barefoot on the beach or a beautiful summer picnic. Romantic styles with a boho edge. The totally original gowns range from the late 1800’s right through to the 1950’s. However the true vintage timeline has been extended to 1985.
