Our cover inspiration inspire you to have an “alternative” Wedding instead of the usual one. Organizing a wedding is not a walk in the park as we all know which is why I am offering you a “ different “ style for you to consider

Let’s start in order :

The Location:

Just thirty minutes from London there is the suggestive Dunsborough Park a country stunning estate situated in Ripley.

What a fantastic idea, a park that can be traced back to the dissolution of the monasteries and finally laid out on the 18th centuries after the lands of the Newark Abbey were given to a local nobleman , this location have so much history, memories and a fantastic lay out, it will create the right atmosphere for your wedding.

The brides dress:

The bride dress is provided by the alternative bridal boutique Rock the Frock from Essex.

Specialized in short wedding dresses, boho bridalwear and vintage style, Rock the Frock offers an unique image to the bride. Something unusual but at the same time very original that reflect the wild spirit of the lady.

I would also advise you to go and visit their boutiques and you’ll be welcome with a nice glass of Prosecco

The Groom Suite:

The Groom suite came from Marc Darcy from Salford Manchester.

Marc Darcy is the epitome of the quintessential English gentleman, with a knack for creating the finest men’s garments with a modern twist.

After setting up 25 years ago, Marc Darcy has gained a reputation for offering high quality, designer garments at affordable prices. Each year they continue to grow at a rapid pace as they refuse to forsake this paramount principle.

Definitely wouldn’t have been a better choice then Marc Darcy for the Groom.

The Jewellery:

For the jewellery in this issue we would like to propose you something quite authentic

Virginia the Wolf

Her jewels are made of Animal Bones.

Virginia the Wolf from London is the brain child of the designer Kat Arnold.

Virginia the Wolf is about mixing the urban feel of living in inner city London with the wild outdoors. She like using vibrant and bold colours to compliment the natural beauty and form provided by nature.
No two Virginia the Wolf pieces are alike, but the real fascination lies in the fact that each piece of jewellery has, technically, been years in the making, lived through a life, recycled into a gem and finally found its immortal home in your arms.

Bottom line is that Virginia the Wolf is only for Original people and we love her.

The Flowers:

So many brides would love their flowers from their wedding day to remain fresh and beautiful for long time to come.

In that case look no further then Sophie and Luna .

Sophie and Luna is the first company in the UK making headpieces using a mix of dried and preserved flowers since 2013. Sophie, Founder and Designer, got married and she needed something that didn’t exist in the UK, so she made it.

From Japanese, Colombian, American and Spanish preserved flowers, to British fresh flowers that are dried in their studios in London.

The Shoes:

As for the shoes we have chosen Natacha Marro as her shoes are sexy and stunning .

From Brick Lane in London and with over 15 years of experience designing and making shoes Natacha has built an enviable client list; just a small taste of which includes the likes of David Bowie, Björk, Lady Gaga, Daphne Guinness, Grace Jones, Gwen Stefani, Scarlett Johansson, Goldfrapp, Noel Fielding, Grayson Perry, Girls Aloud, Erasure and The Stereophonics.

Hair and Make Up:

Kylie Mc Michael from Hampton Court in Surrey gave to the bride a wonderful make up and hairstyle . She has been a make up artist for over 7 years now and specialised in skincare with a penchant and knack for hairstyling . In this occasion she has given us a “ 60′ grunge look “ making the bride sexy and unique.

The Cake:

Made by Sonia Collett, covered in butter cream and decorated with great fresh flowers the cake itself can also represent the wildness and beauty of this shooting as entirely made with natural ingredients

The Stationery:

Please meet Matthew and Leanne, a husband and wife team based in Devon and formed: Swoon at the Moon.

Since 2014 they have been providing beautiful wedding cards, gift cards and more for lots of weddings.

On this occasion , they too have been inspired by nature so they have designed special cards and also the very beautiful MagPie feathers that the bride is wearing on her head. Each one of us is unique on it’s own way and different from each others and that makes us special . Hope you have enjoyed this shooting as much as we have and perhaps inspired you for your big day to come
